Initial consultation fees:
There will be an initial consultation fee for all new referrals. This includes TAC and Workcover claims. This fee is payable on the day, and a portion of it can be claimed back from Medicare or through your Workcover/TAC insurer.
Explanation of surgical fees:
The majority of the surgeon’s fee will be paid directly by your private health insurance fund. There may be an out of pocket expense (Gap fee). Please discuss this with your surgeon.
If you do not hold private insurance and wish to fund the cost of the surgery yourselves, then an Informed Financial Consent outlining the estimated surgical fees will be provided.
